Automatic feeding systems for animals

Feed is distributed from bunkers to the feeding area by: spiral conveyors, shim conveyors (chain-shim or cable-shim).

In shim conveyors feed moves along a system of galvanized steel pipes and turning corners. In spiral conveyors the auger moves the feed along a plastic pipe. The movement of the chain (cable) is performed by a driving device with an automatic control system. The drive unit is equipped with both mechanical and electrical interlocks that protect from overloads.

The receiving funnel is located at the bottom of the storage bin and dispenses the feed from the bunker to the piping system. When the feed fills all feeding places, a signal from the sensor located after the last feeding place is sent to the control system that the system is full and stops.
